Childress Vineyards is proud to unveil the 2017 edition of Fine Swine Wine. This 13th edition select wine was created by award-winning winemaker, Mark Friszolowski, to pair perfectly with Lexington-style pork barbecue. This year’s blend features rich, bright flavors of cherry and ripe strawberry. Soft and smooth tannins provide an enticing pallet for the smoky, Lexington barbecue flavors.
As part of the Fine Swine Wine tradition, world-renowned artist and Lexington, NC resident, Bob Timberlake, designed a custom pig specifically for this label. Timberlake’s inspiration for “Gold Pig” came from reflecting on Lexington’s rich heritage in its barbecue perfection.
